The superintendent has done a fantastic job of creating a culture of openness, honesty, inclusion and community. Right away, you can see that the school 鈥渨alks the talk鈥 and truly cares about student well-being. We鈥檙e happy to have found a home at Stamford American鈥檚 ELV and encourage parents to speak with other parents to help them decide which school is right

We were looking for a school that 鈥渉ad it all,鈥 so to speak, providing a wide spectrum of academic levels and SAIS was nothing short of meeting all our criteria. One factor that attracted us to SAIS, specifically, was its bilingual track option. While many other schools also offer a bilingual track, entry is often capped after 1st grade, but SAIS uniquely allows it up to 3rd grade – this opened a whole new world for our 3rd grader!

We are sad to leave Stamford after 4 years at this excellent school. Our children are spread across Elementary, Middle and High School. The school is great with committed and dedicated teachers. The yearly field trips (pre-Covid) were amazing. The ES is truly wonderful, with fantastic teachers and a caring environment. There is strong focus on well being and inclusion, there are opportunities for students to grow and excel, particularly though MS and HS. The school leadership is responsive and continuously asks for feedback from students and parents. The facilities and location of the school is excellent. The Cafeteria food has improved a lot since switching vendor. It is a truly international school, with a vibrant school community.

Stamford American鈥檚 Digital Learning Team is constantly finding safe ways to use technology to support education and contribute to young individuals鈥 holistic growth.

Rather than insulating students from technology, SAIS guides them in its responsible use. From the time these devices are issued, students are taught how to use them responsibly, following an ethical framework that has been developed by SAIS鈥檚 Middle and High School students themselves.
